Are Higher Home Prices on the Horizon for Trilogy?
Although average and median home prices in cities across the Valley have been rising steadily since the beginning of the year, not all are experiencing the same levels of growth.
That’s the case for Trilogy at La Quinta where the average and median Number of Homes Sold and Home Sold Prices, are not yet experiencing the increased demand and higher home prices as some of the other nearby neighborhoods.
A seasoned REALTOR®, with a strong analytical and economics background, I have good reason to believe that if current local and national market forces stay the same, Trilogy at La Quinta could start to see an uptick in future home prices. Here’s why:
- Local economic growth and higher home prices in La Quinta could increase demand for Trilogy ‘s lower priced, better value homes.
- Ten thousand Baby Boomers are retiring every month, and will for years to come.
- Buyers have more cash on hand. Rising stock portfolios and home equity (in Washington State for example) has given retirees the funds to move.
- The Fed’s action to increase interest rates often spurs fence-sitters into action.
- Rising confidence in local and national economies.
With market forces trending in our direction, now is the time create innovative marketing and sales strategies to attract new 55+ buyers to Trilogy La Quinta.

How the City of La Quinta and Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce Work to Improve Local Economic and Fiscal Prosperity for All
The City of La Quinta, Council, Mayor and employees are doing a superb job of creating a living and working environment that is second-to-none in the Valley. From local infrastructure improvements, public safety to beautification, this fiscally responsible and well-run City is creating a locale that is distinctive and enticing to people of all ages and all stages of life.
Mayor Linda Evans will present the City of La Quinta’s State of the City address October 12, at Embassy Suites La Quinta Hotel & Spa. Her address will reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and will present the City’s plans to build on the progress already made. As a member of the Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, I will be attending the address and will present its highlights in a new blog on my website.
The Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVCC), is working hard to provide the support services necessary to attract and keep small businesses, and to help them thrive. And, they are working with politicians, business and community leaders to promote the Valley as a viable alternative business location and to help make the needed infrastructure improvements necessary to attract, sustain and grow our area’s most vital industries.
Together, the City of La Quinta and CVCC are laying the groundwork for a bright and sustainable future for us all.
