Summer’s Half Over. Now is the Time to Plan and Book the Upcoming Season’s Top Events!

It may be hard to imagine right now, but a whole new and exciting 2018-2019 Calendar Season is already on the horizon. So, we are here to remind you that getting into the new season’s hottest events requires planning and a nimble response when tickets go on sale.

It’s a matter of simple math. Every year, millions of people from all over the world are drawn to Palm Springs’ top high seasonal events. They come for the fun and the sun, many of them planning their calendars and trips a year or more in advance. They are dialed-in with alarms ready to signal them the moment tickets to their favorite events go on sale. And, most likely, they are your favorite events, too!

We will do our best to keep you abreast of the major festivities upcoming, but if there is one in particular that you have your heart set on attending, it’s best to keep it on your radar and, be ready to act quickly! First up, is Modernism Week October.

Without a doubt, Modernism Week in February is one of the most popular of all the Greater Palm Springs festivities. It is so popular in fact, that a Modernism Week Fall Preview event is scheduled each year in advance to offer people an early peek into the planned offerings for the February event.

Modernism Week Fall Preview this year has over 50 activities scheduled including, popular mid-century and modernism architecture and design lectures, lavish cocktail parties at some of Palm Springs’s most iconic homes, bike, bus and walking tours of local mid-century modern architecture and buildings.

Idyllwild Strong! Jazz in the Pines Festival is a Go Aug. 10-12

Nothing, not even fire is going to stop Idyllwild’s 25th Annual Jazz in the Pines Festival. The festival is the year’s largest tourism event and the primary fundraiser for Idyllwild Arts Academy.  Brave firefighters did an amazing job under extreme conditions to contain the fire, enabling the wildly popular festival to go on.

An Amazing Line-Up of Jazz, Blues and R&B Performers.

This year, over two dozen bands are performing jazz, blues, and R&B, set among a breathtaking mountain campus. Summer may be the best opportunity to buy a home in Greater Palm Springs

The bottom line is that the Coachella Valley housing market is stable and is not notably deviating from its course since January 2018.

With interest rates still attractive, summer may be the best opportunity to buy a home in the Greater Palm Springs area. At the very least, you may want to talk Donna about the many good deals available now, before people start remembering that summer doesn’t last long.
